FTD's website is definitely a bright and cheery place to visit. We enjoyed the aesthetic appeal and appreciated the fact that it was easy to navigate, making it easy to find exactly what we were looking for. You can shop by product, occasion or price. It was truly a no-hassle experience.
The only thing we really didn't like is the "Deluxe" or "Premium" upgrade options available with some of the arrangements. For example, you can order the Pink Lily Bouquet for $39.99, or upgrade it to a Deluxe for $49.99 or Premium for $59.99. The problem is, you don't know if the picture you're looking at is for the basic, deluxe or premium option and the descriptions of the upgrade aren't much help either.
And before you get all "gung ho" about the same-day delivery options, check your watch. We browsed the site after 4:00 pm and while we saw icons indicating that same-day delivery was available, we later found out that we didn't meet the time requirements and that in some areas, same-day service isn't available at all.
That being said, we do have to give FTD props for their awesome selection. From exotic blooms to basic houseplants, FTD.com has something for everyone. There are even manly floral arrangements you can send to dad for Father's Day and who wouldn't like chocolates with their flowers?

FTD Customer Service:
FTD offers customer service via email and phone. When we called FTD to make our customer service inquiry they answered their phones within just a few minutes and we were able to speak with a helpful and knowledgeable customer service rep. Not only did she explain the restrictions on the same-day delivery services, she was also able to give us information on some of the deals they were currently running. Email service was just as prompt, with FTD replying the same business day our inquiry was sent.
Upside:
Huge selection, same-day delivery available, 7-day life guarantee.
Downside:
The "upgrade" options were not as clear as we would have liked.
