Esurance.com is an online insurance vendor who advertises that not only can you get your auto insurance quote in minutes, but they will save you hundreds of dollars on your premium. They are “committed to taking the hassle out of shopping for insurance”.
We found esurance on the web after The Hartford wanted to increase our rates (significantly) due to a ticket my husband received (he got caught in a sting - nothing major - just a typical freeway on-ramp traffic control light).
We initially found esurance on the web. I must say that we were initially a bit skeptical, but pursued with an inquiry and a follow-up phone call to their live customer service line. They were able to review our application, answer all of our questions, and issue a policy in just a few minutes.
They provided us with on-line accessible, easy to read and understand documents and insurance identification cards.
In the past several years that they have provided our insurance, esurance has been fast and responsive A live operator has always been available when we would like a person-to-person conversation.
The customer service has been excellent. We receive timely emails regarding premiums and renewals. Our payments are auto debited and there has never been an error.
We compare rates at least once a year and esurance always comes out in the top three.Since we have been with them, our rates have been lowered several times, based on our good driving records.
Initially, we considered them a quick, easy fix to our problem. But, the quality of their service and their competitive prices have continued to make them our preferred insurance provider. Funny thing, now The Hartford is sending us letters inviting us to return. However, they have yet to match the deal (or the service) that we receive from esurance.
